The budget of Bergenfield will now face a spending cut of over $1 million, as the Borough Council introduced an amended budget on Monday, November 14, 2005. As part of the council's various initiatives towards reducing residential tax, the cut of approximately $1,098,000 would come from various wages and operating budgets.
